#OOTD Denim Skater...

Sorry it's been a while since I last blogged, I blame the sun which led to many cider induced evenings which then led to spending most of my free time in the pub which resulted in a very sore head.  Hence no new posts even though I had outfits to show you guys, naughty me.

OK so first up is this 2 strap braces denim skater skirt sent to me by the lovely ladies at OMG Fashion another fabulous online fashion store that I had never heard of.  HOW?
OMG Fashion is a stylish online company who offer key on trend looks at affordable prices.
Just perfect if you ask me!

This Skater Skirt is a sweet deal at just £20, a pretty good price considering you can wear this casual or dressy go check it out HERE

I choose to go casual with this outfit and team it with a denim leopard print shirt and my Nike's, what with all this lovely sun I wasn't feeling my usual dark palette of black.

Skater Skirt * - OMG Fashion / Shirt - H&M / Chain & Earrings - Primark / Trainers - Nike Air Max / Scrunchy - Primark

OK so maybe I should have ironed the skirt (and possibly brushed my hair) before I went out but that would have broken a habit of a lifetime as I have only ironed twice in the last year.
I know, I know HOW am I single Lolz.

Anyway I hope you like the subtle double denim combo.
Go check out all the amazing on trend deals over at OMG Fashion you will definitely find something you like!

Have a good rest of the week guys!

#OOTD - ISWAI Tee

I am currently blogging from the comforts of my bed nursing the usual Sunday hangover, to say I am feeling sorry for myself would be a massive understatement.  Good night though so it was worth being curled up in bed all day for.
Having this time on my hands gives me the chance to show you guys the lovely Tee that was sent to me by ISWAI
ISWAI is Caggie Dunlop's brand (you may remember her from Made in Chelsea) and it stands for 'It all starts with an idea' Caggies idea for her brand is so fresh and unique and an amazing way to get young designers noticed...

'I just had an idea - rather than attaching my name to a label and have no creative input I thought I’d give my name to those who can’t get a break, and platform some of the amazing talent that otherwise might go unnoticed.'  Caggie Dunlop

The collection is a range of printed Tee's, bags and jewellery and you can also shop Caggies style on the website HERE.

They kindly sent me the Da Vinci Tee which was designed by Cara Holsgrove, I hope you like the way I styled it!

Tee*- ISWAI / Shorts - River Island / DIY Shirt - Charity Shop / Chain - Primark / Cuff - M&S

#StyleBloggerAwards - Outfit Post...

Hey Guys...
So the first part of this post is to show you all what I wore to the Company Magazine Style Blogger Awards.  I was shortlisted for 'Best Fashion Blog' but unfortunately didn't win, this category was FULL of AMAZING and well established bloggers so for little old me it was a complete honour to even be shortlisted :-) I felt like a total fan girl staring around the room noticing my favourite bloggers.
In my head I was like Abbie - Do. Not. Act. Like. A. Fan. Be. Cool.

The Editor of Company magazine also said how popular the Best Fashion Blog category had been and to even give yourself a pat ofnthe back for just being shortlisted to the last 10 out of the thousands that had entered - big smile across my face at that point!
I was already over the moon at just being there!

I was lucky enough to meet up and spend the evening with 5complete babes - Brooke, Maddie, Adora, Natasha and Sade we mingled, drunk champers and nibbled on Sushi (I had like 1 bit, a sausage roll would have done the job)

Skirt - Vintage / Boots - Topshop / Top - Primark / Belt - Charity Shop / Chains - Carboot / Hotpants - Topshop

In the next post I will show you all the pics I took from the evening, I didn't want to over load you all!
I had such a good evening and wanted to thank you all for getting me shortlisted so it's down to you all that I was able to go, and of course to Company Magazine & New Look for hosting such a fab event!

#DIY Denim & Lace

OK so I have featured this denim jacket on here before but its a DIY that I will wear over and over again.  £5 in a charity shop, sliced the arms off and added some gold studs - sorted.

The lace shorts used to be leggings, I chopped them up when I went to Ibiza last year to wear underneath my Levis shorts and fancied styling them another way but minus the shorts!

I have seen so many lace flares over the blogsphere at the moment (which I think inspired me to dig out these lace shorts!) and I love them, they look so cool on the bloggers I have seen style them.
Not sure if I could get away with them but I would definitely give it a go.

Lace Shorts - DIY / Denim Cut Off Jacket - Charity Shop DIY / Top - Charity Shop / Shoes - Cheap High Street Shop / Spiked Hoops - Topshop / Scrunchies - Primark

Also do you like the cuff  bracelet?
This was a gift I received at the M&S Press Day and I am in love with it!
It's statement peice, chunky and gold - what more could I want.
It will be available in stores this coming AW13.

So do you guys like my DIY, charity shop bargain outfit?
How would you style the lace shorts?

M&S AW13 Press Day...

Now I know what you are all thinking, Abbie from Fashion Tatt, an M&S customer?  You would be right, however after the impressive Press Day I attended on Wednesday I have been well and truly converted.

Usually I am only seen buying their underwear and a few smart items for work but I can honestly say I am eagerly awaiting the launch of their AW13 collection so I can go and nab a few keys pieces for winter.

Their modern re-vamp headed up by style director Belinder Earl Shows fashion focused, strong and contemporary collections.  For me I would look to choose a couple of key wardrobe pieces that I can wear in versatile ways and then style them with my charity shop bargains to put my stamp and personality on the outfit.  A mixture of high street and vintage – totally me.

Myself and my fellow fashion friend Heather who works for a Trend Intelligence agency were welcomed in to the beautiful venue with refreshments and canapés only then to be given an informative guided tour of the new collections....
