90's Vibes

Put your hands together for my latest chazza shop piece...
I bought this denim jacket a couple weeks back for the grand old total of £2, a serious bargain don't you think?  I feel very me in this outfit, denim, a scrunchie and an oversized shirt, rocking a very 90's vibe which is fiiiiine by me as it's definitely my fave era.

I hope you all are having a good weekend so far!  I came home Thursday so have been enjoying some TLC, the sky box and M&S food back at the parents!  Can't beat home comforts can you.  Last night was spent dining out with some old pals catching up and having the usual photo shoot sesh throughout our lovely tapas tea, standard.

Continuing the theme of eating out Amy and I enjoyed a lovely brunch at The Garage Lounge in Southsea (check out my Insta for all related food pics) where I scoffed down a bacon sarnie, again standard.

Holiday Packing

Holiday count down has well and truly begun and it currently stands at 4 sleeps.  I am absolutely buzzing to get away for a couple of weeks as am hoping the sun, sea air and rest can shift this bloody virus I have been carrying around with me since basically Christmas!

I popped into Westfield last week with the one intention of grabbing a beach bag from Primark, however we all know what that place is like and 30 mins later after loosing my shit in the bikini section I was queueing up with a bag full of flip flops.  I tend to shop less and less there now but I had completely forgotten how good it was for the holiday essentials.  I mean sorry, gold palm tree hoops, errrrr hello holiday earrings!

Monday Musing - Lace Up Sandals

Lace up sandals, what better inspiration for a Monday morning seeing as Spring is well an truly here and today's the day that I go on holiday!
Me and a couple of my girls are off to Egypt to chill the F out, go mental at the all inclusive buffet and try every cocktail on the menu.

I. cannot.wait.

I absolutely love a high sandal but sadly I don't wear heels enough, I am all trainers and chunky boots since I moved to London.  I am getting my Lace up Sandal wish list together and must admit Free PeopleASOS and John Lewis all have some great picks, roll on payday!

Workwear

So today I am slumming it on the sofa as I have been officially signed off work.  It's great as it confirms I am not a crazy hypochondriac with a mere blocked nose but it's also not great because when your a chatty old thing like me a week off work alone is rather boring.  I am going to make the most of it though and keep social, reading all my fave blogs and getting a few posts up, so hit me up with your links to keep me busy!

So, onto the outfit...

I think I am rather late to the suit crew but better late than never I say!  I was out on the road Friday with work and what with these nice bright mornings I had time to whack the tripod out and shoot my #OOTD.

As this was a work outfit I kept it quite minimal, trainers for comfort and the Burberry scarf to interject a bit of print and colour.

What do you all think, how would you rock a suit?

Staples

Good evening you lovely lot, hope you are all having a good week so far?
I am in my usual spot, my bed.  Glasses on, hair up and indulging in some of my fave blog reads, a blissful evening don't you think?

I then remembered I had a few outfits that I have forgotten to share with you all and no better time for a blog post than when your laying in bed procrastinating on the internet!
In this outfit you will find me rocking another head scarf as this was back a couple of weeks when I was recovering from the dreaded ear infection.  I had gone past the point of dry shampoo so voila the head scarf come turban had become my new best friend.

This look consists of my 3 staples, leopard print, camel and denim.  This pretty much sums up my life at the moment.

What are your favourite go to pieces at the moment?

Leopard Print and Tassels

I want to introduce you all to my new vintage leopard print coat, as a big animal print fan I was buzzing to win this coat on Ebay for £10!  Animal print never really goes out of style so for a mere £10 I have myself a classic wardrobe staple and a statement piece that will add an edge to a simple outfit.

I styled it with my new tassel bag from Hidden Fashion, my trusty ripped jeans and a monochrome printed tee.

What do you think of the jacket, are you guys animal print fans?

Vintage Double Denim

Happy Friday is the only appropriate way to start this blog post and boy is it a happy one as I get to see my newly engaged (as of yesterday) best friend tomorrow who is coming to London with some of my oldest pals to visit!  The obvious shenanigans will be taking place these mainly include drinking lots of prosec and cocks (FYI when I say cocks I mean cocktails, my love of abbreviating can sometimes be misconstrued *ahem*) and no doubt ending the night with a 2am curry.  Bloody Perfect.

I wanted to show you yet another thrifted outfit, head to toe vintage denim costing a grand total of £2.  Pastel, patchwork double denim, on trend and for £2, no wonder I am having a little giggle in these pics I am winning here.  You know what that means though...
more dollar for prosec, oh yeahhhhhh.

Monday Musing - Double Denim

Seems like I am well over due an inspirational post, I’m not sure why as I am bursting to the brim with inspo from pinning my fave looks on Pinterest to Street style babes gracing the pavements in their mega mind blowing outfits.
Today I bring you Double Denim, the fabric of the year so far as 2015 has been a revival of denim, how to wear it, what to wear it with and how much you can wear at one time.
I am a big fan, and have enjoyed rocking dub denim for years now so here goes:

Turb Life

Hello Hello lovely people, how was all your weekends?  Filled with good times, good food and good people I hope?  I haven't done much this weekend as I am still on the mend from the dreaded ear infection that I have been banging on about this last week (soz I always kick the arse of out being ill and making sure everyone knows!)

I did bravely venture out with my girls yesterday all the way up town to Chelsea where we gossiped over brunch at the Bluebird, enjoyed tea and cake at Muriels Kitchen and snapped blog pics next to a lovely set of coloured houses.  The turban was a highlight of the day covering a multitude of sins, mainly greasy hair and protecting my cotton wall stuffed sore ear and I spent most the day saying 'huh' and 'whats that', sorry girls!

My look yesterday saw me wearing a mostly head to toe thrifted outfit - I found the Zara leather jacket hanging practically brand new in a London charity shop for £17 and although I have a leather jacket I obvs had to have this one.  Zara coat, brand new, £17, errrrrr YES!!

The jeans were £1 from a Dalston chazza shop and the black shirt was another coupla quid barg from a chazza shop back in Southampton.

What do you think, are you a turb lover and a keen bargain hunter like me?
